In a heartbreaking incident in the Narsaina area of Bulandshahr district, the body of an 18-month-old child was discovered hidden inside a trunk. Police sources reported on Thursday that they received information regarding the disappearance of the toddler from the village of Nityanandpur Nanglia.

Following the filing of a case, an investigation was launched, leading to the recovery of the child's remains from the home of a neighbor named Ankush. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination after the necessary legal formalities were completed.

Authorities revealed that Ankush was apprehended and during interrogation, he confessed to the murder of the child. Initial findings suggest that the child may have been strangled. A local resident, Sachin, mentioned that Ankush had taken the child to his house, prompting a search by the community. When police expressed suspicion, they requested to open the trunk in Ankush's home, where the child's body was found concealed among blankets.
